Robinson had a number of years as assistant coach at Newcastle before joining us first time.

Robinson was the assistant coach when Roosters who went through to the Grand Final in 2010 from finishing last the previous year.

Robinson was the coach of the Catalan Dragon’s side in 2011 and 2012 in the Super League who finished 9th in 2010, after arriving finished 6th in 2011 and went two weeks into the final series and in 2012 finished 4th and went two weeks into the final series and the quarter finals of the Challenge Cup.
