I fear a game of Merritt proportions from Toups. Hope I am wrong but I don't think he is up to Origin yet. Interestingly Toups agrees yet that big nosed fool picked him anyway.

I'm with you Johnny. I wish him all the luck I possibly can but I'm so worried for Daniel. Origin is so different from grand finals and he said himself he is not ready. I hope he has someone mentoring him and making sure the nerves are settled as best they can be. It will be a baptism of fire up in QLD but he has my very best wishes..

I think the thing in Toop's favour is that so far he has risen to the level required - Finals, Grand Final, City Country.

Obviously Origin is another level altogether but so far he has surprised my with his composure at all levels - hopefully same again this time!

I must admit Im very surprised that he has been picked but I congratulate him on being picked. I don't doubt his attacking ability but I do have concerns about his defence in a SOO arena. Hopefully Jennings & Toups do NSW proud & they come away with a win.

Well done Daniel. I'm very nervous for him though. He said himself he doesn't think he is ready for SOO and then followed that up with a shocker against NQ. I hope he has a big one. And Jenko too.
