Reynolds is the best 5/8 in 2014 which is the present compared to Maloney he is in the past.

Ive never said that I would swap Maloney but the facts are that Reynolds form has been outstanding this year & he is not injured like Maloney is.

Malonys form slump has cost Pearce his 1/2 back spot for NSW.

I think NSW will win the series with Reynolds at 5/8. He is the most deserving guy to play for NSW. He is heaps better than Maloney

Reynolds is nothing without a dominating pack by his side. He has tenacity but lacks any creativity to cause trouble.

I feel the same way, really hoping NSW bomb but I do think Reynolds is a solid player. Not so sure about Hodko but he was a meant for big things after Manly.

Forward pack is pretty shit anyway which will inevitably lead to a halves downfall.

I too think Reynolds has been the outstanding number 6 this year and simply had to be picked.

I would have picked Peter Wallace at half personally... A very tough smart underrated player who would handle the origin experience better now.

wont be cheering for them but if QLD win i wont really care, but it would be nice to see who everyone blames if we do lose again.... but something tells me NSW are just due for a win now.. no real reason behind it i just think this year will be it and can you imagine the Pearce hate if NSW win the first year without him? i dont wish that on mitch

That last bit is totally wrong. In fact it's the opposite to what happened. The truth is that Pearce getting on it and acting the goat a couple of weeks ago cost Maloney his spot. If Pearce didn't do that they would be the Origin halves again - despite their poor form.

Daley has said that the night on the turps cost him his spot.What i am worried about is how Jimmy handles this.We haven't been going well mate.There is something not quite right with the boys maybe its a grand final hangover excuse the pun ,maybe not.But i watched the cowboys game and they were awful They are not turning up for each-other in D.The attack was non existent there is no resemblance to last years team at round 10.Robbo needs to sort it out soon too if we are going to go back to back.

I feel sorry for Pearce. The crap he cops is unwarranted. Aside from two flaws - poor decision making + erratic kicking game - he is a damn good footballer, and aside from the kicking superior to Hodgkinson in most other facets.

Reynolds and Hodgkinson will cop the same garbage mark my words. The mouth-breathers and keyboard heroes on League Unlimited will be tearing them to shreds within seconds of QLD's obliteration of the NSW team.
