Rumours of a rift

It goes without saying that team unity is the key to repeating.

Last year we were such a close knit group. The Telecraps drug agenda only made us stronger.

But this year there have been rumours of players not getting along. Is this just a symptom of losing?

I guess what I'm asking is, is there any truth to these rumours of is it just BS?

Because if we're not a tight unit, ala the Dogs of 2013, we'll scrape into the 8 and get pumped.

What a wasted opportunity that would be.

There is only one person on this forum that would be close enough to know for sure and I highly doubt he would be willing to share it with the masses on here.

He is one of very few I would trust and just recently returned from a hiatus. He is a man in the know and very well respected.

I started a thread on this forum about 20 minutes through the Cowboys shellacking entitled 'Something's wrong'. I still totally stand by that opinion, and I think it's blatantly obvious to anyone who has an understanding of the human psyche and body language that there is definitely a problem in the group.

The question that remains is who it is between (individuals/groups), how complex it is and whether they can patch it up quickly.

I personally think this will be a short-term problem.

Hopefully within a couple of weeks things are looking up again.

I can't recall seeing it in the media?

It doesn't look like SBW is enjoying himself at the moment.
Maubs has hardly played in the last six weeks, so he wouldn't be happy about that.
If Fergo is coming and SKD is I the out, the playing unit as a whole would be very pissed off, as Shaun is one of the most popular amongst his peers.

You can't defend the undefendable this time around. Had nothing to do with performances on the field.

Perhaps, I'll start a thread with my thoughts as a fan of what is going on. I've only noticed lack of cohesion in last week's match and that is without 1/2 of our playmakers.

I hardly think the players would come out defending Pearce for this.

Nobody publicly defends someone at work when they get grilled by the boss.
