Pearce moved on whilst SBW stood still, I suspect Sonny may have had his eyes closed and was taking a quick pre-match prayer.

If you rewind it, they started next to each other, then completed the circle & saw each other..

Probably didn't feel it was necessary to hug twice..

The sewing circle musings in this thread truly is embarrassing..

"Oh look! Sonny and Pearce weren't hugging in that 8 second shot of the sheds! They must totally hate each other!"

First, players don't have to like each other to play well together. Half the Australian team hates the other half and they dominate every time they play.

Second, I don't know about you but I'm not just constantly hugging, joking, and smiling whenever I am in the presence of my mates. The fact that I am quiet one day might just be because I don't feel like having a chat that morning.

Third, Sonny got married last year before the finals began. Didn't seem to have any effect on his performance in round 26, the finals series, or the grand final.

The fire and brimstone in the first half followed by grinding out a win can do wonders for the team spirit.

Lets face it if we hadn't been so badly beaten against the Cowplods probably none of this stuff even gets the airplay it has.

One thing I don't get is who defends like we did in that last 20 mins of the 1st 1/2 when they all hate each other???

As with every week we still communicate in defence and show that attitude needed to defend our line in the face of poor handling and lop sided penalty counts against.

In fact we missed 15 tackles this week and only 13 last week when we got pumped. Go figure.

Time will tell I guess.

I can't copy it cos the iPad won't let me.

As I've said in a few posts, maybe the ones who know the "facts" are right, maybe there is a rift, but some of that goal line defence, you rarely see that attitude and intensity for blokes you dislike.

From what Robbo said it clearly goes beyond what Pearce has done.

Whatever you want to call it not everything has been right.
