  • Driving to ANZ tonight...any tips?

I'm driving to the ground tonight for the first time ever as I usually catch the train (need to drive tonight)

Tried to book parking but this can not be done on the day.

So, I'm happy to pay and am looking at parking in Car Park 2. (as I need to meet people at the Novotel and this seems to be closest)

Does this fill up typically on a standard club match?

I'm aiming to get to the parking area at 6:30pm.

    Any other tips??

I note there is some street parking but assume this may be hard to get unless getting there earlier??

I wouldn't expect P2 to fill up tonight. Most people park in P1 and the crowd shouldn't be too big tonight so I think you'll be fine arriving at that time.

If you don't mind walking an extra 10 mins there is free parking along Underwood road next to DFO, although to be honest the walk back to the car can be a bit annoying with all the dogs fans driving past giving you their 2 cents worth (win or lose). Alternatively you can risk parking in the 1 hour spots along the CBA building near Olympic Park station but you are about a 1 in 3 chance of getting a ticket so its up to you if you want to risk it

You should be fine at that time. The best car park is P1. There are always plenty of spots in other car parks and they usually have regular shuttles to the ground from the further ones.

Lock your doors, maybe even consider putting a 'fully sick' sticker on your rear glass.

Some empty kebab wrappers laying around might help also

P1 is the best...but P6 (on Australia Ave) is pretty good as well, just bring $20 in change.

Agree with that. if you are having trouble finding a spot P6 always has availability. + you can get a decent feed at the shops on the walk into the stadium, rather than the garbage they call 'food' at Stadium Australia
