Those bad decisions even themselves out over time.

The penalty counts don't - especially when it comes to us.
    Exactly.
Kegs you complain about people going on about conspriracy theories all the time. But your flat out refusal to look at the penalty situation objectively and label everyone who does a 'conspiracy theorist' is just as annoying as the conspiracy theorists themselves.

But they are going into games with pre conceived ideas which is a form of bias. Either way we're getting well and truly screwed.

I do look at it objectively, MR. I see that Souths get 2 penalties for every one that we get. I believe that this is a resut of pre-conceived ideas about certain clubs. The referees aren't robots after all, they will never be perfect.

But there is a DIFFERENCE between that, and saying the the NRL is all out to get us, and saying, no, pleading that they want Souths to win the comp.

Fair enough. I agree. That has never come across in your posts though.

Anyone advocating an NRL conspiracy has lost the plot.

Just like anyone who advocates the referees are not biased against us.

                And this is my stance.

Of course there is no NRL conspiracy.

But it's equally clear that referees have subconscious biases which seriously hurt us and benefits Souffs.

True but its so hard to feel sorry for them, we were in the same position last year with our 6 & 7 out and we still beat them.We missed a lot of strike power in the backline with Jennings and Tupou out so both teams were undermanned in key positions last night. If Pearce and Maloney had been picked for SSO and the Bulldogs had their 6 & 7 playing last night you would have not heard a peep from the media mongrels had we lost the game.

                      I don't think it's subconscious.

They also conveniently forget after character assassinating Luke Phillips, that ex-bulldog Luke Patten is also a video ref who has come up with some baffling decisions in the past.

Our penalty issue is a self perpetuating prophecy.

Being the most penalised and supposedly ill-disciplined team in the comp who give penalties away on purpose, refs will automatically scrutinise us more than our opposition, thus leading to our opposition getting away with things like lying all farking over us every tackle ala cheatebury on Friday night without penalty.

Being the most penalised and supposedly ill-disciplined team in the comp who give penalties away on purpose, refs are unconcerned about lopsided penalty counts resulting in lopsided penalty counts every farking game.

Being the most penalised and supposedly ill-disciplined team in the comp who give penalties away on purpose, oppositions know they can get away with infringements we can't and ****s like Ennis and Hasler play on that.

So the question needs to be asked, should we keep Robbo's philosophy of not playing for penalties or start for playing for penalties as all other farking teams do?

                              Chook.
