He may or may not be a gun player down the track, but not for a mega buck gamble. He has undoubted attacking skills, but many other facets of his game are way behind first grade level, eg his defence, his willingness to get into dummy half and help out there, not going looking for the ball, when its not coming his way. All things that he can fix, but too date has shown no intention to do so.
I was looking forward to watching him on Saturday, but since all the Jets attack went down the left and all the Mounties attack went down the right, he hardly had a chance to do do anything unfortunately. If the Jets attack like that every week, it will take a long time for him to get his confidence back.

It was evident however, in the lack of chances he did have, he doesn't belong in reserve grade. That try he scored was too easy, and his try assist for the last try was top notch. Sadly, if he runs out of patience playing NSW Cup for a while, against opposition that doesn't test him, he may take any offer that comes his way if he that allows him to play top grade

He wont get form over night it will take all season and even some of next.
have you ever seen seen any one come back from two or 3 Acl's? nope see Tate neck and knees but came back when discarded from teh Broncs but took some time.
Im willing to give him plenty of time

Ideally we loan Moga out for a season at a club that really needs an outside back and will play him in firsts then bring him back for the 2016 season, unfortunately our hopeless league still doesn't have a loan system so we'll either lose him or he'll waste away in NSW Cup for the Jets.

Yeah for sure, its definitely going to take a long time for him to get back to his best. I'm thinking maybe thats the reason he doesn't go into dummy half at any time he gets a chance, or do the little things like that. Which is completely understandable, he probably doesn't want to push his knee at time when he really doesn't have to. Hopefully he can get consistent game time with no more injury problems

He's Samoan. I'm no expert on their language, but others with Samoan ancestry have the 'ga' pronounced as 'nga' First one that springs to mind is former All Black Captain Tana Umaga.

Cashed-up Canberra Raiders have turned their attention to Sydney Roosters wunderkind Tautau Moga after missing out on James Tedesco Penrith flyer Josh Mansour.

The Raiders have money to spend under their salary cap and continue to aggressively scour the player market. They came close to snaring Mansour, a contender for a NSW wing spot, who ultimately decided to remain at the foot of the mountains.

The Green Machine are now targeting Moga, the prodigiously talented Roosters three-quarter who has been compared to Sonny Bill Williams and Israel Folau.

Moga is off contract at the end of the season and the Roosters are keen to retain his services. However, he would need to take a big pay cut to remain at Bondi Junction after suffering two season-ending knee injuries. The 20-year-old recently returned to the field with feeder team Newtown but the setbacks have limited him to just 14 NRL appearances since storming onto the scene in 2012.

                I hope he doesn't go.
I think the Roosters have done their fair share; they (Canberra) have Shillington, Ricky Stuart and had Sandor Earl who all came from the Roosters at one point....on second thoughts, I think we owe Canberra something or somebody

I am a fan and hope all effort is made to keep him. Personally, I'd have him here over Blake. Ferguson is a time-bomb.

We should keep Moga and let SKD go. I have had more than enough of watching performances from him like against the raiders last weekend!!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                    Here's looking at you, kid.

Oracle I'm probably with you. I need to watch the replay of the 2nd half. His first stanza wasn't good.

I have fears about the stability of Blake. I have fears about the consistency of SKD. I have fears about the fragility of Moga. TIT
