What talent this kid is. I am suprised that no-one has posted as to ho good he looked playing today. I just hope he is signed to a long term contract. Willis Meehan is a superstar in the making.

Yeah he did look great. Men against boys. Way too big for them to handle. I dont see the point of playing him in U20s

He needs the experience. He was great against an understrength dogs but throwing him in the deep end will screw his confidence. I see great things for that kid, he needs to be kept.

I mentioned in my World Cup reviews last year how impressed I was with him, I don't think he's far off first grade at all.

Contracted until 2017 too for what it's worth.

This guy is absolutely bloody brilliant!! Nene has the ability to play fullback, wing, center, 5/8th, lock and second row. The way he looked yesterday was for me a cross between Hayne and greg inglar$e.

                      For me next year I would look at;

                      1} Nene
                      2} Toups
                      3} MJ
                      4} Fergo
                      5} RTS

RTS makes me very nervous under the high ball and looks to have taken a step backwards this year. He was the best winger in the comp last year and took out the award for it. This year he certainly won't be winning it.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                      Here's looking at you, kid.

It's RTS's second full year in First grade, his 3rd full year in Rugby League. He's shown a shit load more than Macdonald at this point in their careers.

My pet hate is starting to write off kids just because they're having a down period in their early career. It happens.

Easy there R6, I never mentioned that I had written him off. I am just comparing his 2013 and 2014 seasons, is that a crime? I know you have a big love for RTS and I respect that. I also really rate RTS, it is just that I expected him to come on more this year, when instead I think he has taken a step backwards which isn't to say he is going badly. I had very high expectations for RTS, but since seeing the errors he has been making, the bombs dropped and some lack of genuine speed, those expectations have come down. But don't get me wrong R6, I still want him in the team, hence why I had him on the wing for the lineup I want next year.

I just like the idea of having a big fullback, as Hayne and inglar$e are so successful. Both Nene and RTS can always alternate between fullback and wing during matches. Nene is a hugely exciting prospect, his size and power are big advantages and I believe he can be something special for us!

Ive seen a lot of Nene Mcdonald at fullback last year and unless his defence improves then I would prefer he continues his 1st grade career on the wing

He has come along a long way since last year Mr Walker. Did you get to see him yesterday? He was extremely impressive! He ended up winning them the game right at the end by pressuring the opposition into giving away a penalty from a very strong run close to the line. Cornish then kicked the winning penalty shot at goal after the siren.
