is so level headed when he speaks, he never rants like Toovey and co and he's not arrogant like Hasler. He's just very matter of fact and when he talks about our team you can't help but feel very very confident about our chances this year. There is a reason why opposition teams and coaches hold us in awe. If we completely click it will be very pretty to watch.

I love Robbo and want him to break the record for coaching the most amount of seasons at the one club with us. The article below is a good example for why I appreciate the bloke so much, he is so intelligent and really has his finger on the pulse with not only our club, but the NRL and life.

Roosters coach Trent Robinson has challenged his players to recapture the ruthless streak that propelled them to the 2013 NRL premiership.
The Tricolours held their opposition scoreless a record six times on their way to the title last season.

They were on course to record their first shut-out of 2014 on Saturday night after opening up a 24-0 lead over Canberra at Allianz Stadium.
But the Chooks lost their way in the final quarter, conceding two tries to settle for a 26-12 victory.
"We set it up in the first half and we came out in the second half and did a good job for 10-15 minutes there and then we fell off," he said.
"We just weren't ruthless enough at the end to finish it off."
The win, their fifth in six starts, lifts the Roosters into fourth spot on the NRL ladder.
Robinson says his charges are well placed to mount a strong title defence after 12 rounds but admits they are still searching for their 2013 form.
"With all the stuff that happens, we're in a good position but we need to keep working hard and we can't be satisfied with what we've done so far," he said.
"That wasn't quite what we wanted tonight, that was a little bit short of that. Probably 25 minutes short of that and that's what we're focused on."
Meanwhile, Raiders coach Ricky Stuart praised his players' efforts despite another error-riddled performance on the road.
"Obviously we're disappointed with the scoreline but I see a squad of players there improving," Stuart said.
"With that scoreline at half-time the Roosters probably would have went on with it against a team that lacks a bit of heart, camaraderie and team spirit.
"The Roosters are an absolute class group of players and for what we did tonight showed improvement in where we're going and a fair bit of courage and commitment."The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!
Here's looking at you, kid.

I think one of his great attributes is his ability to get the players and himself and the coaching staff to look to themselves when looking for the reasons why they are behind in a game and to take personal and group responsibilities for errors and penalties in a game.
Other coaches particularly Stuart, Toovey and Hasler quickly set up a siege mentality that there are third parties such as the refs who are principally to blame for their downfall and they and their players end up at war with the refs. We suffered from this for a while a few years back and would see particularly players like Anasta racing out of the line to confront referees throughout the game compared to say Cameron Smith's approach.
