  • SKD detractors

I can't believe the amount of flak this guy gets from some supporters here and on other social media platforms!!!

Today he was terrific as he has been most of the year, but for some reason as soon as he has an ordinary game, the critics come out in force against him, calling for his sacking and release from the club.

During the week when news of the raiders possibly offering Moga a deal, those same critics jumped up and down asking to keep Moga and get rid of SKD!!!!!!

SKD has developed well at the Roosters and has played with alot of heart, and I sincerely hope he plays out his career at the Roosters and become a one club man.

He has been above standard this whole season.

Unfortunately his standard has been set very low. He is not worth the money he is currently on.

Jennings has shown us what a true big money centre should be both in attack in defence.

Sorry to say but Skid, when playing out of his skin is equal to your above average NRL centre.

    Sharks could use his mediocrity.

The problem with SKD is that he doesn't pass to RTS unless there is literally no other option. IE hes getting tackled out of play. It must be frustrating for RTS as he has shown against the Cowboys and agains tyesterday that he does not need much room to work.

          SKD > Fergo > Mogadishu.

SKD won a Prem with us. With a broken jaw. He played for Clovelly, ffs. But most importantly, he's playing really, really well in all facets of the game.

He'll go down as one of my all time favourites.

He was our best player in the first half, the 2 tries the Storm scored in the second half were holes created by him however. (stop running out of the ****ing line!)

It's a long time between now and the start of next season.
I'm backing Flake to go on a bender and get the punt before his contract is even registered.

More then happy to be proven wrong
The club has gone down this path numerous times and really only Jake has changed his ways.
Don't see the point in signing him with the likes of Milne, Moga and McDonald on the verge of first grade.

WTF?Maybe the problem is RTS,Why is it Mini was in perfect position from a perfect SKD pass for the Roosters 1st try. This post and the picture of the halfwit BF highlights what OMR is saying, you don't know what you've got till it's gone,PS dont forget his efforts in the GF,playing with a broken jaw and being there to score the try to get us back in the game.

SKD is SKD, at times we have all wanted to throttle him, other times he does things on the field that very few players can do, there is no rhyme or reason why he has these vast fluctuations on his form, it can even change from one half of football to the other. At this stage of his career that is not going to change, so we either put up with it, or let it totally do our head in.

He's a champ. He's breaking tackles and making metres with ease. That try he almost scored has to be one of the efforts of the season, to even get near the tryline with the amount of defenders there was amazing, let-alone the pickup.

Can't argue with that BM. I will give full credit for SKD's attack yesterday, it was very good. Where was that last week though when he played $hithouse?? Some on here also conveniently forget the two tries he let in yesterday, along with the very poor seasons he had in 2011 and 2012, as well as some extremely poor performances last year like against the eels, $harks and warriors that spring to mind!!

The way he attacked yesterday, why can't he ever produce that against $ouff$??
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                          Here's looking at you, kid.

Whilst acknowledging SKD made a bad read in the second try where he has rushed out of the line, it should also be noted that RTS followed suit and went for the intercept rather than close it down at that point. Mitchell Pearce also had an opportunity to shut it down. sometimes you have to give your outside backs the confidence to rush up and shut down a play, it is something that SKD and RTS make bad reads from time to time. Obviously there was an extended period last year where this was our weakness. Sure these guys and Trent will be focused on this area of their games.

In the first one we need to give some credit to the Storm as they found us short in a 4 on 3 situation and SKD was held up covering the inside backrow runner who if if he didn't cover to some extent would have more than likely scored in a one on one tackle that close to the line. When he turned to the outside runner who received a very good ball from Roberts his tackle looked weak. Jake did a similar thing to the Storm Ryan Hoffman in Pearce's try where Hoffman didn't get a hand on him.

His attacking game was really good yesterday.
