We got shafted, SHAFTED by the refs as usual. Our record of receiving the least penalties this year is WELL INTACT after that debacle.
And yet, last year we were good enough to overcome. This year we just give up tries for fun against Manly on the fringes.
Our halves are also plodding it up, operating at 50% capacity.
It better change soon!
The refs will put their whistles away come Prelim time as usual, the predictable cheating twats. But we still need to improve 30% ourselves to then win the comp. And well, 16 rounds in, we're still playing like horse cock.
How can SKD wrestle the ball from McManus in mid air, maintain control and score a try, yet drop a perfectly timed pass to the chest?
Chook.
Mate your posts read like you don't like any of our players.
Did you celebrate our Premiership last year? If so, these are the guys that won it for us.
In regards to that pass. Yes SKD should have caught 100 times out of a 100 but let's not exaggerate. It wasn't on his chest. It was half a metre in front of him. It happened right in front of me at the ground, then I came home and watched it on TV. At no stage does it look like it hits him on the chest.
If you are going to make shit up to add weight to your point of view Buzz has a job waiting for you at the Telegraph.
Even though I have not watched the replay again I thought SKD was one of the ones who missed Brett Stewart when he made that huge break when he ran the ball out from the in goal in the corner, it looked like he just threw his arm out. It was another rocks and diamonds effort from SKD last night, some good, some bad, nothing is going to change.

The player on the inside of kenny didnt help either, think it was maloney or sbw.

Yep im going to flick through the game again and there were definately two players at fault but all I can really remember was seeing SKD arm grabbing fresh air when they showed a quick replay

maloney and SKW arm grabbing and what about his typical farked up dropping the ball when no one was around him for fuk sakes this dope has been playing for 15 years and still cant catch a ball with no one within 10m of him
sure he made a couple of mistakes but you also have to credit him with several good reads in defense last night.
Do not forget either that nearly ever set of 6 where the Roosters had great go forward, SKD was a massive part of it.
We lost last night because Pearce and Maloney were terrible and kept going right all night which made it easy for Manly to defend.

Not a good sign.
WTF are you on about tommy??
These were comments of mine leading up to last nights game;
We do have some chance JJ, only because we are a bloody good team! It will take one almighty incredible effort, which we are capable of, to overcome not only womanly, but the refs as well.
I don't see this game as a win at all costs game, as I am thinking more long term.
I won't be surprised if we meet womanly sometime in the finals, most likely the GF again. I don't see it as necessary to show womanly our full hand just yet, maybe hold a few aces up our sleeve for when it really counts.
With all the trash talk and bull$hit that womanly have been carrying on with this week, I want to see us smash the living f***en $hit out of the mother******* *****, and give them a royal flogging on the scoreboard!!
I can live with a loss in this one as I don't see it as a must win game. Geez it would be sweet and a nice bonus if we can manage to beat them though! I can see us really being up against it with the refereeing, so if we can at least go down in a close one, I will be happy enough with how our team is traveling.
Nice work tommy, great research son!

Don't get me wrong KB I'm one of Skd's biggest fans it's just he's such an enigma. I swear when they wrote Murphy's Law that says the worst thing will occur at the most inopportune time they were referencing Shaun Kenny-Murphy Dowell.
Unfortunately or fortunately I didn't see the game but all I saw was SKD, once again rushing out of the defense and fail to intercept for them to score. After seeing this at least 3 times and 3 times going wrong I'm asking if this is a tactic that Robbo asks SKD to do? There are special skills to intercept passes that I don't believe SKD possesses those to keep doing so why is he persisting and why has Robbo not done anything about it?
SKD cost us a try which was womanly's second try, plus missed a try scoring opportunity from Pearce's first cross field kick of game. He let stewart straight past him on a kick chase on the 34th minute mark, and of course dropped the ball cold which is not the first time when we needed something towards the end of a game when only a couple of points down. There were a few reasons why womanly won last night, but ultimately womanly won it with their centres outplaying ours to set up tries. Those on here who think we don't need Fergo have rocks in their head!!
