  • Latest on Tautau Moga for @sydneyroosters fans...

THE Roosters are quietly confident that injury-plagued centre Tautau Moga will play a part in their premiership defence before the year is out.

Child prodigy Moga has had a nightmare run, with two knee reconstructions on his two knees in the last couple of seasons.

But Moga has made a successful return through feeder club Newtown and the strong-running centre is slowly regaining form and confidence.

“It is going to take time and Tautau understands that,” Roosters chief executive Brian Canavan says.

“He has played five games now and is getting his match fitness and timing back.

“He is a tremendous athlete and we are excited that he is on the way back – hopefully he will be back in the NRL before too long.”

Moga remains unsigned for next season.

Boyd said last week he was on track to make Origin III.
No news from the Roosters on Moga.

I think they have old stats.

On Moga, barring injury where would Robbo use him?

The roosters said on twitter that the injury report was wrong.... assuming they were referring to Moga at least.

It's buzzing around on twitter also that Moga is off to the Sharks on a 2 year deal, anyone heard something like this?

He is playing for the Jets this weekend - the injury report is wrong.

You can see Tau Tau's most recent performance at the link below. He runs 80m for an intercept try and then does some neat work setting up two other tries. He looks tentative still.

The Jets played for much of the second half with 12 men after a player was sent off.

FoxSports have been wrong for weeks about Tau, they said he's out for another 7 weeks yet he's been playing the last 5 weeks (this was a few weeks ago)

Just don't listen to them, just look at the team lists haha.

I still think Moga will re-sign. He loves the club too much to leave

Only just watched the highlights against North Sydney but wow Moga had a first half!

How good was it to see him running away with that intercept.

Won't be good seeing him do something like that for someone else if we don't re-sign him..... He looks so composed and like he has all the time in the world in attack, its obvious he will have a long career in the top grade. His passes for those two tries were nice, if he was playing right centre for us in the last two years, (obviously he was injured, but if he wasn't) RTS would have scored 3 times as many tries then he has.

Absolute freak i think hed like to stay and repay the club for their patience with his injuries, what a backline we'd have when you throw him and Ferguson in there.

                              We can't keep them all.
