I think the club does and should respect Mini enough to allow him to make the right decision at the right time. He's been on the money thus far.
That's about it.
When a player is in his mid 30's which is ancient in Footy years the decision should be taken out of his hands and made by the club.
Mini is no different to any great player in any other sport, look at some of our great cricketers for example. They very rarely walk away from plenty of money and something they love to do, most times they have to be pushed.
Like I said before Mini will always be looked after and respected. I can see him working for both us and the NRL for the rest of his life.

I second that
Uncle Nick has to throw the loyalty card away .We have to give up and comers there go theyve done their time.
Im sure Mini has high maintainance Mrs which spurs him on to play and I have no doubt he can still offer some thing but if thats the case get hima one year deal in England and thats his cream. Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

And JFC if we win this year there won't be any complaints from anyone.
I'm worried about replacing SBW next year though. I don't think it will be as bad as losing Freddy but not far from it.
