And I hardly think his form was poor prior to his injury.
He would have had a very limited pre season and was just winding up when he got injured.

The team that won the Premiership last year: Sydney Roosters.
Even after certain individuals on this site were convinced to the point of burst blood vessels that the NRL was doing everything in it's power to prevent us from winning, we still won.
How the f*ck does that work, if the NRL is corrupt?

This season a few other teams are interested & it's going to be much harder.
Manly & the Roosters again in the final....if we get Jennings back"Qui audet adipiscitur"

So yeah, don't get your hopes up of a positive penalty count at Brooky!
Penalties are handy, but good teams overcome them, manly have been doing it for as long as us.

If we play Souffs in this years GF, who do you reckon Dave Smith, Todd Greenberg, the Commission, and referees would privately want to win?
Why do you think Souffs statistically get a massive leg up? And why do we as a statistical fact get reamed by the refs every year?
It isn't because the NRL is corrupt. I believe it is because the Bunnies are viewed as the poor peoples underdog where as we are viewed as the rich snobs.
This is why the refs favour Souffs over us, which is a statistical fact. They are biased, sunconsciously or not, and the DRAMATICALLY skewed stats prove my belief.

I'm sure you put a bit of time into finding those stats Tommy, and I applaud you, but it changes nothing.
We are still the reigning premiers, Souths still haven't won a comp in 43 years and counting, and it's statistically factual that the teams that receive fewer penalties are better off prepared when it comes to the finals.
Why would you want to change that?

Facts are we give away more penalties than other teams and we receive less. Have done so for the whole NRL era.
What some don't comprehend is the 6 GF appearances in the same period.
It's a fact that we've been penalised harder than any other side but in that same period have made more GFs than any other side.
Whinging about the obvious is useless.
No one who supports our club or is involved with our club expects to win a count at home. Let alone away. Let alone at Brookie.
Whinging about it ain't gonna change anything. Just makes you look like a biarch, like bOracle.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.

souths have built into a good team over the last 5yrs, so if they win, it would be on the back of some handy players such as burgess, luke and inglis. Would some of the nrl, fans and some officials want them to win? Probably, but in a two team battle there is always a sentimental favourite, and not many of them prevail, warriors, eels come to mind in recent years.
If the nrl did favour the dogs or storm so much, do you think they would of stripped them of points and Grand finals?
