Do I really think there is a conspiracy against the Roosters? Probably not. Do I think there has been a vendetta by the refs against us over however long? Definitely yes & this is clearly supported by the facts. Even Robbo earlier this year stated we had been done over by the refs for the last 10 years so I know I'm not imagining it.

However, I know there's nothing I can do about. But, it makes me feel better to get it off my chest on a forum like this.

I've followed the chooks for 40+ years and it's been a wild ride. It just frustrates me beyond belief that our team has to fight against unfair forces to try and get over the line each week. I'd much rather sit back in my lounge chair and enjoy watching my team play to same rules as everyone else rather than spending my time yelling obscenities at the refs. Imagine how good we'd be if we got a fair go. However, it could be worse and 2009 springs to mind.

I'm thankful that we have a great team and the last 15 years have been a great time to be a fan. That doesn't mean though I can quietly accept what's going on with the refs.

A lot on here think we are going ok, but we are not going ok at all, and I am looking forward to us playing a good side, both teams almost at full strength, to gauge just where we are at, in this years comp. I hope I am wrong, but we wont know that till after Friday night.

I'm not convinced you can put the GFs of 2000, 2002-2004 into that category. I don't recall us being as royally shafted in those times (& in fact recall that we may have won a penalty count against the Broncos in the GF qualifier of 2002 8 zip). The stats appear meaningless in hindsight, but it doesn't make it any easier to cop when the actual shafting is taking place.
