Everything is about timing. I think Robbo is preparing the team to hit peak form just before finals time. There is no point in peaking mid season and smashing teams, only to fall at the last hurdle (just think the Vermin). Our current form may be scratchy but as other posters have mentioned, we are 1 win away from top place. And after this w/e, there is a possibility we could be equal top place if results go our way! Since you won't let up about Minicheillo, ill answer your question. He has been an outstanding player for the club, and would easily make my best ever side.
In my opinion, I think he will retire at seasons end. His form this year has been at times exceptional, and at times poor. At 33, I would prefer he give it away and not go around next year.

Easts may not be playing at their best, but can you name a standout team? As someone else mentioned, it's been a crap year quality wise, don't think the rules changes this year have helped.

In my opinion, the faster play the balls have caused rushed and poor decisions by players, resulting in poor ball handling and completion. Its a shame there are few footballers left with natural ability, just muscled up robots with bombs on the last to the wingers being every teams pet play.

What's different to last season at this time of year???

Souffs had beat us, Melba had beat us and we had only beaten WoManly who from memory had injuries at the time. The Boggs weren't really contenders last year.

On top of that thru some of those losses and wins this season haven't we had $BW and JWH and Cordner missing??? AV now. 3 origin players also???

Not sure a capital E would help in this case mate, that poor farker is Balboa like, just didn't know when to stay down.

Agree 100% and it's all I've been saying, nOman would've realised that if he'd have only read my posts. We are in a positive position. We showed again this weekend we are playing great footy and it took some great footy to beat us. No shame in that, losing to the better team on the day.

The season is far from over for us.

Even if we miss the top 4, which hopefully won't happen, but if it does, we would still be the side you'd hate to play in a sudden death semi.
