  • Was the week off a good thing ?

I think so, apart from the 2 points, we were playing like a tiref team, winning 4 games by 13+ flattered us, this little freshen up and a win tonight against a patchy Womanly team who struggled to beat the Naughts a couple of weeks back should see us on a 10 game winning streak with the sides we have to play and a bye thrown in.

Even better news is there was no bender with the week off,

Roosters by plenty tonight, Guerra to score a double

We should power through the middle third, their forward pack is very light on.

Toops to get a double and give Williams another nightmare.

          Chook.

Chook we would power through their middle third, but the refs will allow womanly to lay all over us in the tackle, holding down to really slow our play the ball. Also the refs will allow womanly to be offside all game!!

Toops would get a double, but the refs will allow lyon to unfairly block Toops off the ball.

These are the exact things that happened the first time we played womanly, and I expect it all to happen again tonight.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

Wasn't the penalty count like 11-3 or something at Allianz? I can just imagine what it will be at Brookvale.. No chance of us winning.

We do have some chance JJ, only because we are a bloody good team! It will take one almighty incredible effort, which we are capable of, to overcome not only womanly, but the refs as well.

One thing is for sure if we are going to be a chance of winning tonight, we must do one simple thing............................HOLD ON TO THE F***ING BALL!!

If SBW is on his game we should win.

I reckon the penalty reaming last match was a fop to Toovey from the GF. I recall reading at the time that Greenberg visited Toovey and copped a spray in person, with specific regard to perceived injustices in the GF. And Greeners admitted that a few of the calls looked a bit dodgy on reflection.

So I'm sure there was a bit of a (sub)conscious square-up from the refs last time. Not out-and-out cheating, just some soft decisions going in one direction (which, curiously, I understand is Toovey's favourite band of all time).

So I reckon we'll get a fair shake tonight.

                      Easts by 8.

Despite a mountain of possession, they were able to score one try only! I think we will overcome them tonight and start our premiership defense on the right step.

                            Don't worry about the penalties.

Overall we seem to handle it OK.

                            Easts to win.
