I'm just thankfully the Roosters lost against Manly. Had they won, they would have been complacent. I'd suspect that Trent hammered the hell out of them so Cronulla beware.

If the Roosters' were 'too casual' against Womanly in their own backyard, and were once again hammered by the refs, but were only just beaten in the last 2 min of the game, it would be amazing to think how dominant they would have been if they were fully focused.

You would sincerely hope that come finals time, we wouldn't be 'too casual'. We should all be confident that if that display against the 'premiership favorites' was only half-hearted, that we will be good enough to take care of them in September/October, when you would think the boys would be raring to go and 100% committed.

I do agree with all of you but - that casual attitude is pretty concerning and definitely not good enough. If they carry that around till finals, there may not be any finals to play.

My bet is that Cronulla put in a massive performance.

That playing group has a Bulldogs-esque persecution complex. In their heads they'll be thinking Noyce has shafted Flanagan and now Carney, the NRL want them dead, ASADA are out to get them, etc, etc...
