They were in the top 3 regarding 40/20 kicks this year...
I don't think he'll have much of a role, but say he just sits in the park while Carney's practising some kicks (even just 2 times a week)... he could be a good mentor.

I don't think he'll have any say regarding the gameplan... he's just going to hand out a few technical tips regarding kicking... can't hurt. If Carney thinks he's full of $hit, the guy's not being paid (so won't be his boss) he just just say "piss off Taylor you wanker..."

Personally I wasnt to keen on Brian Smith so honestly I dont really care about anymore potentially dud decisions the club makes, especially after the spoon this year. We were at the bottom of the heap this year, it cant exactly get any worse can it?
Also more than the coaching staff I think the playing roster has bigger issues
