  • Sia Soliola wants back into the NRL - Thoughts?

Sia wants back into the NRL. I liked him when he played for us, I think he would be a handy second rower/lock - use him like we did O'donell.

If you had the option between SS and FPN, who would you choose?
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

        Here's looking at you, kid.

          SS over Just Re-Signed FPN.
Off Contract End Of Year FPN over SS.

FPN cause he at least has potential and can be very damaging.

              For next year?

FPN, he's off contract next year so he'll get the Dally M, Lock of the Year, Try of the Year, Most Points, Most Tries, 9th Immortal. He'll even get an award named after him The FPN Player, For Phenomenal Non-contracted Player.

Why replace SBW when he have off-contract FPN?

LOL. He's played over 150 first grade games, close to ten seasons, creeping up to 30 years of age and he still has POTENTIAL???

Your idiotic posts never cease to amaze me..

unfortunately Soli has played within his comfort zone way too long
He would be blowing hard at Newtown

to be fair FPN has had a good season imo, his runs have been strong and he bends the line regular.

Sounds like he'll be going to the Raiders to re-unite with Stick.

Ricky Stuart has turned to England to ignite Canberra’s recruitment, with the Raiders close to finalising deals with St Helens centre Iosia Soliola and Hull KR hooker Josh Hodgson.

After missing out on several big-name NRL players, Canberra look to have the UK Super League pair in their keeping for 2015, and the club is also expected to welcome Dragons back-rower Joel Thompson home next season.

Stuart’s relationship with Soliola goes back to 2005, when he gave the Marcellin College graduate his NRL debut in the Roosters’ three-quarter line.

A Raiders spokesman confirmed the club had been in talks with both players, but said any deals were yet to be finalised.

The thing that stands out for me when I think Solia is massive massive hard hitter, we used him in the centres when we should have used and developed him in the forwards.

Another guy that never saw his potential was Setimata Sa, anyone see himplay recently? Boy did he have potential but lacked focus and motivation. He really did have it all coming though, size power skill speed.

If either of them were any good they would still be in the NRL, or at least, back in it by now.
