SBWs lack of care for this year has affected on the rest of the team

Thanks for last year, but no individual is above the team.. SBW is only interested in himself, hes a talented sportsman but he wont leave a legacy in any code or sport..

Not in the same postcode as legends of our game who have persisted their full careers

Most of his self serving attitude is influenced by that greasy dirty grub of a manager he has Khoder Nasser

If some of our players are on the take it would certainly explain their form.

Some of our best from last year are our worst this year. It's diabolical.

        Chook.

          Great thread Trew, agree 100%.

          Baloneys head ain't right.

2 weeks straight he misses relatively easy shots to keep us in games. Games we quite possibly win.

You don't lose ability in an off season.

And it has nothing to do with Origin or PearceOrf, he's been playing like a busted since the WCC.

          $BW hasn't been much better.

I've thought they were both guilty of trying too hard at times but Baloneys mind farked.

Missing easy ones that he usually eats. That's beyond.

          The FlogPen .

          You know it makes sense.

It was more his reaction to making the same mistake twice.
The c was expressionless. It was weird...,it's like there was no frustration.
Something is amiss. I don't think they would intentionally make mistakes but there is something really fragmented in the team.
            barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!

              Right in front?
              Not what I saw.

              Goalkickers are not robots.

SBW...heavily marked...and had a very hard year last year in the NRL.
He said so, that it had taken a heavy toll on his body.

I'll thank him and praise him forevermore for his efforts last season and especially in the GF when we were struggling bigtime.
Like the new framed and signed photo of SBW I recently hung on my wall?

Ditto Maloney...I'm looking for a framed and signed photo of him too.
If Maloney hadn't kicked those goals and made the break for the "Bondi bobbydazzler" in the GF then we would not have won.

Opposition coaches are a wake up to them now, and both are heavily marked.
Most other teams have improved, and the rules have been changed.
We also don't have the same team we had last year.

Some unduly harsh criticism of Sonny Bill on this thread. He is putting in. Overplays his hand sometimes but he is putting in as much as anyone. Ran very hard all night and ran more metres than anyone else. Was guilty of throwing some miracle balls but to accuse of him of a poor attitude is wrong and a bit pathetic really. Some people have unrealistic expectations.

                  Good post, Ox.

                  Last night was rock bottom.
                  It will get better.

                  Patience.

The run to the finals starts now.

Oh agreed, he always puts in 200% and has never had a rotten attitude. I guess I just don't feel he's playing as well as last year. Could be a bit like GI I guess though? People complain he hasn't been scoring many tries at Origin level... but Darius Boyd has. Probably similar for SBW in that people over-marking him makes holes for others to jump through.

Agree with what you are saying.

What happened to your prediction of Easts being morals for 13+ ?

When I read RTS' quote after the Manly game I knew then something is not right.

Robbo got them in his first season with his good bloke but also hard but fair approach.

If he can lift them again in year two then he will be a great coach for many years.

At a guess, some of the quotes in here

                          http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2...red-sharks-nrl

"But we eased off the pedal and that is why Manly got us, the efforts from the boys were too casual at times and we just didn't execute right."

Said they were punished for "being a bit casual" against Manly.

Questioning Sonny's effort and committment is unfair.

I just question his need to throw the miracle ball constantly, it's getting costly.
