So the desire wasn't there to be 18-0 up? Was that just a miracle. It was a team that clocked off, it was a team who wanted the easy way out, it was arrogance. Any other game and mind set Pearce and any other NRL player would never throw that pass 5m out from their own line. The occasion got the better of the boys last night.

I was referring to the season as a whole thus far.

Embarrassing but hardly the worst in our club's history.

The occasion of being massive favourites, playing a team who on paper were made out to be in absolute disarray and all the other hype that had us massive favourites aka our boys believed their own press. Not only did they think all they had to do was turn up, but they thought they were entitled to 50+..

It only gets tougher next time we turn up too - Penrith. If we don't turn up 110% committed, they will have a field day. If Mini isn't fit, I'm not expecting anything; if RTS is also out, we may as well not turn up

Majority of them must have pea sized brains, it was only a week ago, the sharks did the same thing to brisbane, you would think robbo would of emphasised this for them at half time again. Either they care little about what the coach had to say, or the coach told them to put 50 on the scoreboard.

Now you put it like that I can see just how overwhelming the occassion must have been

I wouldn't say they were overwhelmed, underwhelmed... Which was reflected in their application, or lack there of after 18 or so minutes..

Maloney, Pearce and SBW brought shame to our jersey.

                        I'm stunned. ****ing stunned.

The most embarrassing defeat in our 107 years and they should be ashamed.

Woooowwww, hanging out too much on this place really does make people crazy. Three years ago , I would have given my left nut for the chooks to be 5th on the table after 18 rounds of football. Now after a shock loss, there are some posts saying we are done for the year, some suggesting we axe half the team, and the odd one suggesting that we axe robbo. I haven't seen this much craziness since 21/12/12 .

At the start of this year I thought that Mini and SKD were burdens in our team, but they actually been arguably the most prolific and consistent players in the squad, and even pearcey has been in good form(btw i was loling so hard at that try assist for graham.)

Everyone needs to calm down and TIT. He has led us this far after being the jokes of the competition previously. We have good young kids coming through and a solid coaching staff. Our performance against sea vermin was inspiring even though we lost. We are far from done this year. Chooks Back2Back
                          Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

                            Indeed.

I also was laughing when Graham scored, this camp Moa was talking about yesterday should help iron out any problems.

Looking at some of the players who represented us in 2009 is mortifying.

This year we're the defending Premiers. A season removed from being one of the best defensive teams of all time.

And we just blew a 24 point, I repeat, a 24 point lead to a shambolic last placed Sharks side missing Gallen and Carney. And Lewis and Fifita.

That was THE most embarrassing defeat I've ever seen. I'm still in shock. I almost had to get someone to take me to the ER to check me for extreme shock and trauma.
                              I hear you mate.

                              That match was sickening.

I couldn't even come on here for 2 days.

                              I'm furious about it.

Couldn't be bothered reading the whole thread. Tommy said it all. That was far from the worst. What a shit thread, from a sad sack of shiz. Maybe the WORST thread ever if anything.
