Having been to Anfield Tommy, we both know that if you'd slagged Liverpool off whilst stood in there, you'd have lasted 2 seconds before someone put you on your arse.

You see, it dont matter how good your team is. When you win the premiership the hardest thing the following season is finding that same inner resolve that allowed you to win it in the first place. My problem was that I was unsure how bad they wanted to go back to back.

Yeah well I support Sheffield Wednesday! And if you've endured lower league English football having previously been one of the better teams in the country you'd understand there's a world of difference lol

And the things I've heard Liverpool fans say about the likes of Glen Johnson, amongst others, make me sound like a saint for calling Pearce a merkin.

But hey, at least I never joined FOF. Hell, I don't even have any ill feeling towards Braiff!

Been to Liverpool a couple of times SG, first time was 78/79ish so that was probably Jimmy Adamson

Went again in the late 90's so that was either O'Leary or George Graham.

Started watching them in the Revie era though. First game I ever went to, they beat Sparta Prague 6-0 in one of the European Comps. That'll have been 71.
