Well, we were dead set blessed Cronk missed most of game 1 and all of game 2, with him directing Qld around the park, and with a more then fair shake of the penalties, they were way too good for us. Terrific defencive effort in the first half, that kept us in the game, but it used a lot of petrol, and we were running on empty for most of the second half.
Our halves were very average for most of the series, but, there is not a large talent base to pick from, for NSW, lets hope Brooks, grows into that halfback we desperately need. Once the Qld forwards started eating up the metres, and finding gaps, in the second half, the writing was on the wall. But somehow we won the series and we'll take it, but with no great expectations of a great run of series wins. Its a shame the series is used as a cash cow, and no third game is played if the series is decided, to aid the players, and the comp , keep on track in their club games, but bugger they players, there is a quid to be made, that's all that matters. That failed attempt to find the sideline, from a penalty kick was a big error, that started the roll on for Qld, probably not the deciding factor on the outcome, but certainly it put us under a lot of pressure.

Nope but it's all about timing, whether Daley was gonna pick him or not, it gave him an excuse.

What bird did was disgraceful, and then to get a mate to take the blame is low.

with teo and others, if no one presses charges then it's hard to get a conviction.

I didn't realise Parker was so good. What an awesome performance. SB would have been proud of those offloads.

There were four reasons nsw won this series:
            - Cronk got injured
            - Hayne was awesome in game one
            - the refs didn't control the ruck or ten in the first two games, nullifying qld's attack
            - Cronk got injured

As a Queenslander & a Roosters supporter I'm happy that Queensland won but its more important that no Roosters were injured or put on report.
There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.
                It's called experience.

I haven't read the entire thread, but on last night's game, I don't know what hodkinson has been given all the praise he has received. He is no better than Pearce, if anything he is worse. His kicking game was absolutely appalling last night, not one of his high balls landed within coo-ee toops and J.Reynolds was not setting the world alight either. This series was goes down to Hayne having two blinders in the first two games. How he didn't win the man of the series I will never know.
                  Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

The series really came down to Hayne having a blinder in the first game. Anyway, that garbage is done for another season. Let's get on with the real stuff now.

Agree with all! Also I would like to add the point of, if Cronk wasn't injured in the first half of game one, QLD win the series!

bull$cumdog$hit and $ouff$ supporters will tell you though that NSW won because reynolds and hodkinson were the halves instead of Pearce and Maloney. But to be fair those supporters do have an excuse, as they are queer f***tards with NFI and can't help it!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

Special mention goes out to Guerra. As a New South Welshman, I was very proud of how he went in his first series! I felt very happy for him last night, making reynolds look like the useless carnt that he is, leading to two tries.

I would drive a truck load of money up either he or DCE's door and ask him, politely, to play for the Roosters.
Is it possible to be underrated when you're the QLD and Aussie 1/2???

Not giving a damn about Origin... Guerra was incredible.

Corey Parker was at another level but Guerra wasn't too far off.

I think it is...look at Jason Nightingale, gets picked for New Zealand but not lauded generally.

Last night, it was all Jonathan "sponsored by Centrebet" Thurston and that break by Daly Ciriaco-Mescia but Cooper Cronk set up the break by Thurston and passed the ball to the Dice Man.

But he's been playing like crap ALL year, well before PearceOrf got dropped.

Surely IF Baloney was playing anywhere near well enough he'd have been picked at 1/2 and Reynolds at 5/8???

And surely IF PearceOrf was able to influence Baloneys dropping it stands to reason Baloney was only selected last season because of his combo with PearceOrf???

This line of thought is just sheeple shit.
