Not that impressive... he has other values no doubt. I believe he's our best play 2 & 3 carrier of the ball but hes not the try scorer he used to be.

Wingers generally score more tries than centres, hence more wingers being in the 100 club than any position.
IMO SKiDs best value are his go-go gadget arms. 5 out from the line he always seems to find a way to get the ball down.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.

I doubt robbo will throw him in ahead of SKD, before he plays a least a handful of NSW cup games and forces his way into the side.
Our U20 players need time to develop as well. Elliott, Milne and Goodsell are definately no certainties to walk into firstgrade next season. Even McDonald needs some development and time in Newtown before he forces his way into the side ala toops

Our backine next year (barring injury):
Roger
SKD
Ferguson
Jennings
Toups
Maloney
Pearce
That's the best backline I have ever seen in the place.

They are buying him as they consider him one of the best right centres in the game, and he is that. He is, even though he plays in a different position, our maquee replacement for SBW. Whether we agree, or disagree with the recruitment, he is an elite player, and I'll be very surprised to see him playing in the NSW Cup, even for one week. SKD will be pushed out to the wing as a result if all others (RTS, Tupou and Jennings) in the back five are fit and available....
