Davos in addition to the ones you have mentioned I would add Dylan Walker, Will Chambers, Kane Linnett as superior and possibly Tim Lafai, Will Hopoate, Brad Tighe, Jamal Idris, Dean Whare, Simon Mannering (when he plays centre) Tim Simona and Gerard Beale to the list for starters who are the equal to SKD. I like SKD, he has played well this year, but he is not a top 10 centre, IMO he has far too many rocks moments.

Yeah you are right, it is very subjective...its why we have arguments about the footy in pubs, clubs, at the water cooler at work and in forums.

Linnet is not superior. As for Tighe, Mannering, Simona and Beale.. Nowhere near it. Then we can start talking right centre v left centre...

SKD does have the ability to score those tries that look unlikely when in the oppositions 10-20 metre zone. But I cant remember the last time he broke the line or looked like breaking the line. He just doesn't seem to have the explosiveness that I Like in a centre.
He is a good at winning the play the ball though as is big stature and reach enables him to control the tackle (he is one of the worst surrenderers really) which makes the following runner dangerous.
I guess sit all comes down to how much you pay him if he is a winger with Jennings and Fergo in the centres.

Amazing how some of you rate blokes who haven't even played first grade as yet, or played a few games.

If you look at our coaches short history of re-signing players he's stuck with blokes who have debuted at the club and are around the 150 game mark and who are/were much maligned on this site. Like PearceOrf and Maubs and FPN and Friendly and Mini.

And they've rewarded his loyalty by performing when required.

I get the feeling SKiD isn't finished at our club, he's in that category.

Even though idris is huge, he is a lazy as hell. He is arguably one of the worst defenders in the game.

I agree Buddy. Fergo when available also way ahead of him! It can be easily argued to have Croker and Lafai ahead as well. The way that Idris has been performing the past few weeks is ahead of him. If you base things on how SKD performed against the sharks, that list grows dramatically!

It doesn't matter where he rates with respect to other NRL Centres, he will be our third best centre next year. The last time I looked a rugby league team fielded 2 centres, meaning he will be on the Wing. The decision will be whether the club thinks it is worth paying a Winger $350K+.. I can live with whatever decision the club makes.

I think Dugan has found his nice at centre The Dragons fortunes have changed for the better since he was moved there and he looked good in the last SOO there
