He's closing in on 100 tries in less than 8 seasons. 92 now I believe.

We only have a few who have ever done that at the club.

Shit there's only been about 60 players to ever score over 100 tries in first grade.

Even AV is on 96, played almost the same amount of games.

I find it strange that people are so against a bloke who has really performed where it counts, scoring tries.

But wrap blokes who haven't even debuted in first grade.

If we let him go so be it but really he's achieved more than many in his position, even won a GF. That's gotta count for something at the end of the day.

RTS was hyped but hardly proven we he made his debut.

Every player has to prove that they 'have it'.

SKD has proved that he only 'had it' when he played outside of the pisshead.

Who would you rather see leaping for a bomb to the wing? Macdonald or SKD??
Ah ya pleb that's not what I'm saying at all.

If SKD was here then four of those players still would be depth, not three.

No player is proven before their debut ya dill, however SKD is, he's been one of our best this year and he's been playing outside someone who doesn't touch the piss at all.

I have no problem with him leaving at the end of 2015 as his contract is up but for next year it makes no sense.

You raise lots of valid points, fair enough. He is an enigma, he still gives me heart palpitations every time he touches the ball. This year he has been at his most consistant for a long time .Who knows which Kenny we get next year?

            This.

Especially since we let Moga go.

            Makes sense.

We don't even know if Fergo will be registered or if he still has the juice or if he will fark up before he gets a chance to lace a boot.

IMO it would be a risk letting go a bloke with 8 seasons under his belt and by then possibly 100 tries for the club. Oh and a GF.

              Is SKD better than Inglis?

I understand mate, he's an enigma at times.

And if the coach lets him go, so be it, I won't complain.

Just he's not as bad as he's made out to be at times. In fact he's playing pretty well as you said.

I'd keep him till his contracts up. Even if just for depth.

SKD is a good centre and a brilliant winger. It's his favourite position and he'd excel there next year.

No way would we be foolish enough to release him. SKD, for all his brainfarts, is still an important member of the team; now and going forward.

Why not? He is by far our weakest link in the backline. The last person i'd ever want, in our team, to have their hands on the ball in the last few minutes of a match is SKD

Or to score a go ahead try in a GF from a floating pass running flat out with a broken jaw???

My point being the Storm released a player of the calibre of Inglis when they had cap issues and with a number of our players going to require big increases, I can understand our club releasing SKD. With Fergo here, SKD will be our number 3 centre and number 2 winger. Not exactly indispensable with a tight salary cap.

Which technically shouldn't have been a try anyway, mate...

I get that SKD tries hard and is a good bloke and all that, but do you really think he is a strong point in our backline? The bloke has been going backwards ever since Carney was here. He hasn't improved. He doesn't deserve a pay-rise which no doubt he is seeking. He is by far the weakest link in our backline despite being one of our greatest try scorers.
