Unfortunately giving it everything he's got includes scratching at a bloke's eyes, squeezing another's testicals and racially abusing another. And that's just on the field in the past 2 years. And the days of players and the NRL turning a blind eye to those types of incidents are long gone.

If he ever got that sort of crap out of his game he'd be a worthwhile footballer to have in your side. But unfortunately, the bloke lacks self control and self discipline and so you never know when the next brain snap will eventuate.

For a club trying to repair its brand and image, I don't reckon Gallen would be a good fit.
