Our clubs decision not to play him looks pretty vindicated when you look at the interest from other clubs.. He is pretty much unwanted anywhere.. If he doesn't pick up another contract before the end of the off-season I doubt he will every play anywhere again.

Waiting for someone who is on $400k at 29 to find another deal is just silly, he could sit out this year and still get a deal in England for 2011 and beyond.
NC - I agree with everything you say and nothing has been suggested that Willie has refused to do anything my understanding is he hasn't been asked to front training for anyone.

In his experience, Mason would be shite at Rugby and that Japanese Rugby has shown very little interest.
Just some goss.Last edited by Imadog; 12-14-2009, 04:50 PM.

I'd rather the Club played hardball and force him to play NSW Cup. He may earn a motza for doing it but he certainly won't be doing his future contract prospects any good.
And sooner or later even this dipshit will realise he's better off taking $100K and walking away rather than spend a year being belted from pillar to post by nuffies who just want to brag to their mates down the pub about how they landed one on the Wanka.
And some of the cowpaddocks the NSW Cup is played on wouldn't be good on the Wanka's knee either.

I'll also be waiting to see what action the Club take against Friend before I sign up again. I'm over the talk regarding punishment for bad behaviour, I want some definitive action - and not just against the nuffies either.

The club has paid dearly for their mistakes over recent years. The Wanka just the latest in a long line. He was just the last straw as far as I was concerned.
