Perhaps I have missed something but where is this plaza that is near the stadium? I don't recall ever seeing this plaza before and I can't recall hearing about it. Does it have something to do with the new stand that was built at the Sydney Cricket Ground? Looking at the picture I can not work out where it is located.
Yeh haven't seen it either. Apparently it's new but like you I can seem to find a map showing where it's located.

To be fair that would have been classed as a close loss in 09.

The famous year when we had more players arrested than we won games.

Haven't seen any ticket price promotions yet. I wonder what the deal is with the SFS, all teams who play @ home out of ANZ Stadium seem to promote ridiculously good ticket prices on a consistent basis. This week it's $40 family tickets with free transport included.

Yeh mentioned that in the OP. The club have done a really good job of making this a family day. The live plaza looks awesome and hopefully the kids all pick up a Captain America jersey. They've also done an admiral job of promoting the rise for Alex bands through social media.

But I still think walk up prices of $33 for GA or $28 + $5 booking fee is a bit excessive for the cheapest adult ticket. Would love to see them drop them back down to $20 walk up. Nothing better than a bumper crowd on an sunny arvo. The club & team deserve it.

I agree R6. $20.00 is all the game is worth to watch live these days. Lets face it the game this year has got to be close to the worst standard there has been in years. It comes from the players, to refereeing, and goes all the way to the top with the rules.

The administration wonder why crowd and TV audiences are down. Give me a break, have they not been watching any games.

Totally agree R6 - my niece, a Sharks fan, was quite shocked when she was expected to pay $33 for a walk up GA ticket at Allianz the other week. Luckily just as she was about to buy her ticket someone offered her a freebee, which she was very grateful for. Even more so by full time

I reckon $20-$25 for a GA seat is the right price for a walk up GA seat, espec at Allianz when there are plenty of seats to be had.

It's all well and good to let kids under 12 in for free, but if the adult prices are too high, then the adults won't roll up and, by default, neither will the kids.

I couldn't agree with you any more, totally spot on adzta!! There have been far too many lifeless, uninspiring games this year and you combine that with pathetic poor standard of refereeing, and as you say it explains exactly why people aren't willing to spend to much to go and see it!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                      Here's looking at you, kid.

                            We always struggle against Penrith.

They're probably our biggest bogey team.

Guerra and Cordner need to play massive games for us to be a chance.

Season ticket holders & anyone who buys a ticket to an NRL game in Round 19 get free entry into the Wests vs Bulldogs game on Sunday arvo @ ANZ Stadium. Just in case anyone was heading over there.
