well he has been stood down by the club, so there is a start

    Friend stood down
    Monday, 14 December 2009
The Sydney Roosters have today stood Jake Friend down after he was charged with a number of incidents on the weekend.

Friend and his manager met with CEO Steve Noyce this morning and the Club will continue to investigate the incident before compiling a report for the NRL and taking any further action.

See what Noyce had to say on the matter after he fronted the media at Roosters HQ.

lol...Can this season from hell just end. Only less than 3 weeks to go.

Jake is just a useless dropkick, and a finch like dropkick where you are not even guaranteed one point.

Actually finch can play hooker. Welcome back finchy.

All the clubs should support a ruling of that concequence & players
accept the outcome. Maybe then they might just realize they are not
a law unto themselves as they seem to think they are.
Maybe the solution is religating the concerned player to lower grades for a set period. This will hurt the ego and the pocket. The NRL supports such rulings through preventing the player fleeing to another club. Serve your time with the Jets, Jake...

Yeah it's all Fittlers fault, fittler should have been there holding his hand.

No coach can control these pre-pub boys, this club will only change around with some mature experienced players.

Yeah the youth policy is working well.

The solution is "the axe". And i don't mean yourself. Newtown is a turd of a club, but even they don't deserve him.

Play at Bondi United or another Junior club for the Season. Imagine how he'd appreciate having to work for a living like the rest of us, removed from the public eye. He cannot run as he is registered to the Roosters.

fair enough, as long as he is no chance of playing first grade.

I have no time for repeat offenders, it should be three strikes and out for jake.

Cherrington stuffed up once and was completely remorseful. I have more time for him. It is likely he will not offend again. Touch wood, touch wooden spoon.

Exactly. Same rule for everyone but without the sacking from the club or the need to relocate to Atherton or overseas and thereby dissappoint fans.

Send 1st and 2nd time offenders to junior clubs within the community for prescribed periods on a standard pay structure negotiated by the player association and the NRL.

Learn for life-after-football by learning a trade with work ethic, out of the spotlight because this reality may be sooner for repeat offenders.
Maybe Jake may be shaking hands with Willie at Coogee Crocs or Paddo Tigers...

He inherited a club with a culture of disrespect abundant in the younger players and the previous CEO had alot to do with creating that environment.

I wished Noyce had done more with it, but I have seen some great things he has done and think he will get this club back on track.

                          PWN,
IF this is true, do you believe Gower adapt to dummy half or do you think Pearse will relocate to hooker?

I hope the pundits are wrong, we have enough arrogance in our club without taking gower on board, I hope they do play Pearce at hooker, but it wont happen.

we may see Samuela given a run, jaubs was poo last year, he is more a halfback

The only queue longer than the Roosters halfback queue is the delinquent queue!

He was by far and away our best hooker at the club and I doubt we'll find one on the market this far into the pre-season.
If he's the best hooker we've got then that should tell you something.
