That's how weak it is and it will be a crying shame of we don't win the thing. It's there for us.
I agree with this. All the people who have been writing us off haven't been paying attention to how weak the opposition is.

We have missed Jennings badly. RC still blames Pearce for the Manly loss, but in reality Maubs let in two very soft tries which Jennings would have prevented. It has been a recurring theme since Jennings' injury. Even yesterday, a few half chances by Maloney would have been converted to tries with Jennings on the field.

I think this weekend's results emphasise how crap the comp is, at no stage did penrith challenge us, we are one win within the top spot, and that is with our ordinary completion rate so far this year.

I can see manly and us being 1 and 2, with our upcoming draw, and hopefully everyone but toops back in the next few weeks. Betting agencies are rarely wrong with their markets, most money is still coming for us.

Looks like Tigers are a chance for the comp after today. Sorry Ray, just had to say it!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

              Here's looking at you, kid.

The Tigers should be 1000-1. If anyone thinks the Tigers are a chance they need to have their head read. The win today tells me more about Canterbury than the Tigers.

                    Agreed mate.

                    Bulldogs are average.

There are only three teams in it.

                    Easts, Souffs and Manly.

In the fair dinkum dept, if we are anywhere near as good as we think we are, it will be a replay of last years grand final, but a lot harder to win this year, the others will just make up the numbers.

It's funny you say that Vasco, I just started a thread where I really only give us, the dogs, manly and souths a realistic sniff at it.

I was really impressed by the dogs defence and attitude against manly last week. It reminded me of us last season. (and yet they go and get hammered today. Go figure.) They would be the lesser of three evils as far as I am concerned even though I can't really go them either, lol.

The fact that Ennis was wearing the 16 shows that they have nobody. The Dogs are massive pretenders just like Penrith.

If we don't get it together Manly will win Bradbury-style.

Ennis was wearing the 16 because he is the captain, much like other teams over the weekend. And yes Easts do need to find the attitude..

16 was meant to be for the marquee player, thought sbw would wear ours but it was boyd, inglis wore it for souths.

I think players wore 16 if they were involved in the Rise for Alex campaign, although Ben Lowe was featured for Souths but Inglis wore 16 so im not sure.
