Every team would love an Aubbo on their side. His work ethic is enormous and there is no wonder the Merge went hard to try and woo him the last time he was coming off contract.

That's Baloney, PearceOrf missed that tackle maaaaaaaaaaaaaaate.

You know it was his fault even from the other side of the field.

What about his stint at 9??? Grabbed a meat pie, ran us around, I could feel a 40-20 coming even.

How lucky we kept Maubs over SuperMegaBosden.

I was impressed with SKiD coming from the right to the left. Him and Maubs make such a cute couple, I'm jealous.

As much as I love Maubs as a utility, he is not a centres' asshole. Has cost us games in defence.

You can look at it that way mate, or you could also say we lose yesterday without his defence at times. He made some great reads. And that period at 9, seriously that was unique, a back rower picked at centre filling in at 9, burrowing over for a classic hookers try.

I agree he got found out against womanly a couple of times. Then again he was up against Lyon and Stewart and DCE, they have done a number on better centres on the odd occasion.

Is there anyone else in the club you'd trust for a few weeks to fill in as he has???

No. My point is we can't win the comp without Jennings'. His speed in defense is just as important as his speed in attack.

Don't get me wrong. I love Maubs.

Mate I agree 100%. AVs defence still amazes me. I don't think QLD scored a try down our left edge during Origin 1 and 2, despite all the hoopla over the Morris twins.

Maubs will do his best for a few weeks but against the better centres will get caught out at times.

Baloney defends better with AV, they've formed a very good combo. So does DoubleSteamer.

Speed and knowing how to use it in both attack and defence.

100% correct. Maubs was excellent yesterday. But we will not beat the best sides at full strength without Jennings playing centre. His reads and lateral speed make him the best defensive left centre in the game in my opinion. But our attack has suffered a lot without him at centre also. With a second rower filling in at left centre we have no confidence in running our signature play with the double block runners and Maloney sweeping. Your centre needs to be quick enough to make the centre think twice about jamming in on the outside block runner. Fair enough we didn't have great field position throughout the second half but as soon as Maubs went off and we had SKD at left centre with Nene outside him Cordner scores off a Pearce pass cos the centre who needed to jam was having second thoughts about whether he and his cover could make up the ground on SKD and Nene if Pearce goes out the back instead. Jennings is so important to our success. With him we beat both the Sharks and Manly in my opinion, regardless of all the other injury issues we had.

When do you think he'll return?

                        Dragons game I'd say.

I think Jennings will return on Friday night against the Knights.

what will be interesting is who plays on the wing outside him, it wouldn't surprise if Robbo sticks with his pick the best 13 players and fit them in strategy he used this weekend and plays SKD outside Jennings with Maubs and RTS on the other side.

Jennings would have played yesterday if it was a semi.

It's probably because he isn't quite a specialist in any position. Where would you play him?

Has a better footy brain than 90% of his peers though.

On the bench. He covers so many positions.
