Top Ten things I'd like to see the Sydney Roosters / Easts Group do:

1. Constantly a top four pushing side;
2. Consistent brand of football from year to year;
3. Developing juniors from the Eastern Suburbs;
4. Harnessing the Central Coast as a junior nursery;
5. Not putting up with rubbish from misbehaving players;
6. Being engaged with the Eastern Suburbs community;
7. Make the tough decisions and play ultra-hardball in dealing with the ARL Commission;
8. Redoubling our focus on bringing in larger crowds;
9. Being active and ruthless... very ruthless... in the player/coaching market;
10. Easts Leagues Group golden egg being paramount to our success.

Those who can't handle such a hard-nosed attitude can't really call themselves Roosters supporters.

Tough business this game. Toughen up softies.

In terms of 1 and 2 - as far as I can tell we have only made the eight 3 times since 2005?

Yep, totally correct my friend, we have only made the finals in 2008, 2010 and 2013. Add to that a catastrophic wooden spoon.

One comp, magnificent though it was, does not a long term dominant club make... That's what I want to see!

Yet I keep getting viciously attacked (and trawled) for demanding better and more consistent results by a number of (well really one person and her little acolytes) for demanding better.
