  • Most important game this season

Win tonight & we're two points off 2nd.
Lose tonight & we're two points of 12th.

Nerves are starting to kick in, this is a HUGE game.

Yes every game is important from here on out but this week will decide whether we're in the cripple fight for a finals spot or a top 4 team with a tiny bit of room to breathe.

It'll dictate the theme of our run home.

Uncanny how the comp is so close with games being influenced by bad decisions.

Totally agree, this is a huge game and we must win. Then every other game following is huge to but one step at a time.

I am shitting my pants about a game for the first time in years. I am desperate for them to finally take advantage of a loss by one of the top sides.

Relax ladies. Nothing to be nervous about. This will be one of the easier wins. We will be too strong in the forwards much like the Penrith game.

Who knows what our bumbling team of buffoons will produce?

I'm genuinely excited for this game. I don't fear the big games against better teams .. we seem to put it together for them. We just look uninterested when we're playing crap teams. Every game from now on is huge in regards to 8. I'm still thinking you need to make top 4 to make the GF.

If we finish 4th and Manly 1st will it be played at SFS?

It depends if the refs allow us to win, as premiers we are NOT getting the 50/50 calls or trys. There is no doubt in my mind that we are a target, last yr we had to beats the opposition and the refs and nothing has changed.

Man these kind of posts get tedious.

You do realise don't you, that as a fanatical fan you will always be of the view that your team doesn't get the 50/50 calls? And if you visit any team website you will find a bunch of fans who think the same of their team. Who think they are victimised by the refs. And if you go and read that kinda stuff on other team's websites you will laugh at them and think they are crazy paranoid nutters.

I don't want to start yet another are we victimised or not argument, but really, I do think people need to realise how silly it looks to outsiders.

They may get tedious Ox but the statistics just simply don't equate, we have one of the most powerful and effective forward packs in the competition yet receive the least amount of penalties by a ridiculous amount. (it's now at 12!) Our penalty differential (penalties for minus penalties against) now stands at -44, a massive 75 penalties behind Canberra at +31. (how the **** are the Raiders the most disciplined side in the league? They are a rabble)

The refereeing has been the biggest thorn in our asses for years, any sign of "poor" discipline from us we are punished for, whilst others can get passes for the very same "poor" discipline. It's bullshit.

Yes I'm aware of the penalty differential. I think it may have been mentioned once or twice before on this site. I agree it doesn't seem right. But what are u gonna do? It probably ain't ain't gonna change anytime soon. The constant harping about it just bores me.

I'm doing the opposite Johnny. I'm just going to chill out and relax and watch my team for the rest of the year and whatever happens is the way its supposed to be like last year.. I learned my lesson last week about getting too angry over nonsense which is out of my control and never let anyone make me lose pride in my team. As as sports fan, I have to take the good with the bad..and pay more attention to my own avatar!

I'm sorry Ox but that response never washes with me.

It's basically saying "yes, the refs are biased against us; but there's nothing you can do about it so just bend over and keep on taking it!!"

Whilst ever we keep on getting a raw deal, I'm sure we'll keep mentioning it on here. Especially if the ref doesn't even try and hide his agenda like last week. Can cheating get more blatant than what Patten and Badger dished out last week?

If they keep it up then we should keep calling them out on it.
