And, on probably one the most important days of the season for us, we have a giant distraction...in the form of our players dressed as "Marvel Men" or some other stoopid cartoon characters...we Mr/"Captain America" or something.
What about just playing footy, 100% concentration on the game, dressed in our home 'tricolour' jersey?
Tradition!

(how the **** are the Raiders the most disciplined side in the league? They are a rabble)
The refereeing has been the biggest thorn in our asses for years, any sign of "poor" discipline from us we are punished for, whilst others can get passes for the very same "poor" discipline. It's bullshit.
I have boycotted 9 and I no longer support the NRL nor give any of my hard earned to Sportsrort.Sorry for the rant but I have followed the roosters since 67 and the officialdom is a disgrace not only on the field but off it too.

You don't need to apologise for ranting. The NRL wanted to know why I was unsubscribing to their newsletter after almost 8 years..so I told them..without 'dissent' of course.. They lost me in the 90's due to the Super League bickering and now they have lost me again because of dysfunctionality and a poor product. And as for Channel 9, I lodged a formal complaint and I wasn't the only one according to the nice polite lady on the switchboard. They have 30 days by law to respond formally. An American friend (who watched the game too) told me that never would you see the likes of a retired Dallas Cowboys player cheering for his own team during any sort of commentary, let alone have the entire commentary panel, apart from Freddy, applauding a losing team during a half time break. I'm just getting a really basic Bay 14 membership next year and nothing else. 80 mins for 6, maybe 7 if we are lucky, months of the year is all they will get from me from now on. The comp is only close because our retarded team keeps losing games that we should be winning by 50. If we'd beaten Parra, Cronulla and the knights we'd be leading the friggen comp and odds on for the minor premiership. I'm not even going to watch the game tonight, I'm going out for dinner. I'm over this team's slack arse attitude.

...and Hayne stripped the ball from Cordner [who earlier stuffed up a try by not passing the ball] and SBW as they were about to force the ball for tries.

Had a thought....
If we are AGAIN being stitched by the Refs tonight, at halftime, throw way those Captain BS jerseys and wear our Rooster jerseys. Our way of saying "we protest" to the NRL.
If this doesn't work, walk the team from the field!Written and published on behalf of the Liberal Party, Queensland

Guerra for MOTM..Even I've become a negative nelly! It's bizzaro world Jerry..all these comic strip characters are doing my head in..I had a dream that SKD scored a runaway try last night..He is going to be my MOTM. Funny you mention Guerra. My hairdresser mentioned today how tired he looked in the Knights game..
