And if you visit any team website you will find a bunch of fans who think the same of their team. Who think they are victimised by the refs. And if you go and read that kinda stuff on other team's websites you will laugh at them and think they are crazy paranoid nutters.

I don't want to start yet another are we victimised or not argument, but really, I do think people need to realise how silly it looks to outsiders.
I googled 'Gavin Badger dropped' and the Wests Tigers forum came up from May of this year and further down, the Nth QLD Cowboys one..so there is plenty of ammo out there for the officials regardless of what team you follow. Everyone thinks their team is badly done by.

And, on probably one the most important days of the season for us, we have a giant distraction...in the form of our players dressed as "Marvel Men" or some other stoopid cartoon characters...we Mr/"Captain America" or something.

What about just playing footy, 100% concentration on the game, dressed in our home 'tricolour' jersey?

      Tradition!

(how the **** are the Raiders the most disciplined side in the league? They are a rabble)

The refereeing has been the biggest thorn in our asses for years, any sign of "poor" discipline from us we are punished for, whilst others can get passes for the very same "poor" discipline. It's bullshit.
So true a thorn in our side as too with news limited whereas now it's still the refs, the NRL and now Gyngell with his channel 9 and even ticketek - owned by 9 where fans mysteriously were unable to buy tickets yesterday due to it being sold out which has now been rectified online. A coincidence I think not. Mini is the supposed face of NRL this year and has not featured in any advertisements - a true example of a champion and a promoters dream if he was in the USA. I think the independent director factor with the NRL is the next hurdle for the Roosters as channel 9 and our ex board member controls the game along with Sportsbet. NRL is their puppet. I suspect there could be a likely anti Nick thing or jealousy going on with the ex board member - if he was loyal to the club his network would not have gone as hard as they did on Pearce nor would fans have to put up with the bias commentary by Gould and Warren who are obviously under instruction by their employer. Laughing at Williams dissent whilst being critical of JWH last week and condoning the sin bin was farcial besides being so pointed and biased.
I have boycotted 9 and I no longer support the NRL nor give any of my hard earned to Sportsrort.Sorry for the rant but I have followed the roosters since 67 and the officialdom is a disgrace not only on the field but off it too.

You don't need to apologise for ranting. The NRL wanted to know why I was unsubscribing to their newsletter after almost 8 years..so I told them..without 'dissent' of course.. They lost me in the 90's due to the Super League bickering and now they have lost me again because of dysfunctionality and a poor product. And as for Channel 9, I lodged a formal complaint and I wasn't the only one according to the nice polite lady on the switchboard. They have 30 days by law to respond formally. An American friend (who watched the game too) told me that never would you see the likes of a retired Dallas Cowboys player cheering for his own team during any sort of commentary, let alone have the entire commentary panel, apart from Freddy, applauding a losing team during a half time break. I'm just getting a really basic Bay 14 membership next year and nothing else. 80 mins for 6, maybe 7 if we are lucky, months of the year is all they will get from me from now on. Time for me to find another passion..

The comp is only close because our retarded team keeps losing games that we should be winning by 50. If we'd beaten Parra, Cronulla and the knights we'd be leading the friggen comp and odds on for the minor premiership. I'm not even going to watch the game tonight, I'm going out for dinner. I'm over this team's slack arse attitude.

Thanks RWB - you certainly nailed it in one word dysfunction.Nice to know you cancelled your subscription to the NRL.Intersesting comment from the switchboard person at channel 9 when you lodged your complaint. I wish our club intend to do something about it. There is no respect at all and I think our mixed season is result of it. The current squad has basically been experiencing it for a year - 26 rounds plus from last year and this years matches which obviously impacts on them mentally because no matter how hard they train and put in they know they aren't going to get a fair go and within that comment it's not just about penalties. Never have I experienced such disrespect by officialdom and by the media for a reigning champion team in my lifetime.

The penalties were 7-1 to Parra up until the 60th minute or so.
...and Hayne stripped the ball from Cordner [who earlier stuffed up a try by not passing the ball] and SBW as they were about to force the ball for tries.

This game has the potential to be a beauty. Two closely matched teams with plenty of incentive.

We have slight edge in the forwards and they do in the halves.

                    Guerra for MOTM.

Us to be penalised/video reffed out of the game, again.

You can make up all the excuses you want but this team should be annihilating the teams mentioned. Sure the refs penalise us like there is no tomorrow but the same thing happened last year and we held 6 teams to nil. The fact is our side is not motivated this year and they think their talent will get them through which of course reeks of arrogance and until they wake up to themselves and work their arses off for each other they won't be making the 4 or maybe even the 8 for that matter and it's laughable to suggest they'll win the comp.

                            Had a thought....
If we are AGAIN being stitched by the Refs tonight, at halftime, throw way those Captain BS jerseys and wear our Rooster jerseys. Our way of saying "we protest" to the NRL.
If this doesn't work, walk the team from the field!

Stop trying to be positive. You know that doesn't go down well in these parts. .Even I've become a negative nelly! It's bizzaro world Jerry..all these comic strip characters are doing my head in..I had a dream that SKD scored a runaway try last night..He is going to be my MOTM. Funny you mention Guerra. My hairdresser mentioned today how tired he looked in the Knights game..
