great move by the NRL (granted blue and gold for Manly did not work). At our game lots of people were wearing the jumpers. Too expensive for me but anything that promotes the game is fine. They mentioned on the Sunday footy show that 20,000 of the jumpers have been sold - that's $3million in revenue.

I dont mind how they do this one off jersey, because no one will remember it in 6 months time, kids love it, some fans love it, and the normal people who don't have rugby league as their life's most important thing, couldn't care less about it.

It generated some cash which always helps.

With all these one off jersey weekend's though, I would like to see a round where all teams wear their traditional heavy cotton jersey with the traditional emblem. They all still look the best.

I think commercialism has done a lot of damage to RL, we now see big hulking dumb effs running around instead of the footballers we used to see.

I don't have any issues with these jerseys, but when I saw the first pictures of them I did not like them at all. But I think on the players they looked good
