I think if Trent was planing on moving RTS to fullback before the semis he will likely wait until our backline injuries are sorted.

Maybe, but I doubt it. Unfortunately we can't plan for the injuries so I don't see any changes coming up on the 5 at the back with or without injuries. there's no room to experiment at this stage with the results were getting.

Yeah I take your point. But that doesn't mean Mini shouldn't make that tackle, To be honest I cant work that part of his game out. He does come up with some rippers but then misses some he really should make. No matter, he will always be a legend to me and to be honest I still don't think RTS is anywhere near ready to take over. He is not good enough under the high ball IMO

I'm not seeing a problem with Mini's defence. He is rock solid under the high ball, and in terms of one on one tackling on linebreaks he stops just as many as any of the best fullbacks in the comp.

Last line of defence is the toughest position in the game to make tackles from, so blaming him because he gets wrong footed whne someone makes a linebreak inside the 20 is just bloody retarded (Which is where the Marshall and Thompson tries were scored from). You have to try to pick which way they are going to step and commit before they do it, otherwise you'll just be beat anyway as its too close to run them down. Stopping a player who makes a break from that close is about as likely as saving a spot kick in soccer.

Given how bad RTS is catching bombs, let alone how poorly he handles grubbers behind the line I honestly think Mini may find himself running around again in 2015.

That's the way I see it.

Mini will be in marketing next season.

Which is where he should have been years ago.
