        Mini.

Doubted by few, revered by most.

        Pure Easts.

        A true legend.

Leaves the game on top, on his terms. A fitting end to a champion career.

Im shattered too, but I want whats best for Mini, his family and the Roosters. So glad he came back from the brink of forced retirement to win that Premiership as Captain with another great shot at it this year. He will be my favourite player of all time I will miss him greatly.

          Thank you Champion.

Anthony Minichiello has been a wonderful ambassador for our club.

He worked so hard to get back to his best and he achieved so much in our colours.

I couldn't be more proud of how has represented the club throughout the years.

Only Fullback to captain his team to a Premiership in over a bucket loads of years. I hope he goes out a Premiership winner again.

              Thanks Mini.

He certainly deserves a better send off to our last retiring captain.

Well played Mini, a true Roosters legend.

What a very sad day for us all. All the best Mini, been a true legend and will definitely always be my favourite player of all time.

Now it's time for the boys to send him out in the way he thoroughly deserves.

It is scary to think of the heights he would have achieved had he not had those crippling injuries all those years ago. Many would have called it quits there and then, but mini held on through the adversity and led us to a well deserved grand final victory with the refs against us and all. I wish him all the best and hope that in the future he is involved with the roosters whether it be in a coaching or a logistic role. He is in my top 5 roosters of all time along side horrie, freddy, fitzy and Ricko.

If rts turns out to have half the career that mini has had, then our team will prosper enormously.
                        Comment of the year:

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

One of my all time favorite players. This news could actually kickstart our season Imo. He should have more than 2 premierships to his name but hopefully we can fix that by the end of the year.

I love hearing him talk about how proud he is to be a Rooster.
Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

Thanks Mini, my wife still talks about how wonderful you were with the kids at a Minifit school holiday day last year or two ago, you always were & always will be a total class act & I thank you for loving the Roosters as much as your fans do & all you've done for our great club. It is the perfect time to step down & I really hope we can go back2back for you.

                                Well said.

He may very well be the no.1 Roosters legend of all-time.

His love and passion for our great club is inspiring.

Thanks for all the memories Mini. Now let's send him out a B2B Premiership champion.
