  • Can any of our current players earn selection in Roosters' Greatest Team Ever?

In 2007, the Sydney Roosters announced "The Centurions", a team consisting of those regarded as the greatest players to have played 100 or more games for the club between 1908 and 2007. Mini is rightfully part of this team.

Who, if any from our current crop, has the potential to make this team? Multiple posts allowed. Regrettably, the poll is limited to 10 options so I limited it to players who are likely to play 100 games for the Roosters (left out SBW, AV Jennings)

Jenko might make a push for it once he plays 100 games.

These guys have the potential to make it....Cordner,Friend, and maybe Jennings. Too early to say but a possible bolter is Toops as I think he has amazing potential.

            Easy three

            1. Cordner
            2. Maubs
            3. Jake Friend.

With Che Guerra and Nubian Magic Jenko as smokies.
            SUPER DRAGON!

If Jennings plays out the rest of his career as a Rooster, I see no reason why he can't make it.

Apart from that, Friend and Cordner are in with a good chance whilst its probably too early to tell on RTS and Tupou

Coote, Joe Pearce and Norval are pretty irreplaceable in the backrow.

But Cordner could find a bench spot one day. As could Friend.

I'd say Toops to replace Ian Schubert is the best shot.

Friend for sure. The rest, not sure.
I honestly don't think Cordner has lived up to the hype yet.
I think he was picked for NSW and the Kangaroos on hype and the pumped up reputation.
i like the guy and think he's a good fella and all, I just dont think he has lived up to his potential at all yet.
Can't wait till he does though.

I'd give sonny a spot, bugger the 100 games, 2 premierships is enough for me.

At the end do last season I would have put SBW in there. Not so sure this season. He has been massively disappointing.
