Agree Horrie re Bill Mullins. Apparently he was a huge drinker off the field too. Todd Carney was born a few decades too late.

I was tempted to put the Hit Man Flannery in as the utility, but the fact that Crock played for Australia at Centre & 5/8th, as well as the back row, plus he covered hooker for us, & kicked goals, meant he got the spot..

I expected people to argue for Mullins (either) over SKD..I stand by my choice..

Nobody in the history of the game would take Browns spot mate.They would have to play first grade at 16 years old,captain NSW at 19 and then Australia at 22,score 285 points on a kangaroo tour,38 trys in a season remembering that they only played 14 games in those days and last but not least 45 points in a game i think it was 5 trys and 15 goals.Thats why they call him the Bradman of the game.If you pick the greatest sportsmen on records that they have set like the don in cricket,Margaret smith in tennis then Brown is the best player to have played the game ever.And he is an Eastern Suburbs player
