  • With the Champion Friend out.........

    I would go with

Let Stranger / Kara start at 9, when they have ran out of puff

    Pearce to dummy half
and unleash young Hastings in the halves.

    It is a win win.

Yep that's what we need to do - throw a kid in the deep end with our season on the line.

By his own admission he's struggled with the organisational duties in the Under 20's of being a full time half. You assuming Maloney is going to pick up that slack?

Won't be much of an issue when he can do what he likes playing outside the organisor Pearce in first grade

Im keen to see Hastings in FG as much as anyone but like R6 said nows not the time. I actually will be suprised if we see him much before mid season next year. Wether you rate our current 6/7 or not Hastings is just a kid so pretty sure the club will be very patient with him

it is for 4 weeks FFS, you think playing slow Lestrange is the better option??

neither Maloney or Pearce have picked up the slack this season.

We have the Tits and Tigers, surely Hastings would not have to do too much to measure up to Morts and Brooks.

he could do no worse than the incumbants at the moment

what have 3 little munchikins on the bench?
Nope Hastings too young and physically underdeveloped.
Want him to learn bad habits like pearce when he was thrown in the deep end.

              no to hastings

yep I agree with kurt but I wouldn't over look this guy. scott dureau

After four seasons with the Catalans Dragons in the English Super League, Scott Dureau returns to the NRL in 2014 after signing a mid-season, 6 month deal here at the Sydney Roosters.

A former Newcastle Knight, where Dureau made 42 appearance in four seasons, the halfback/hooker made the move to the Northern Hemisphere at the end of the 2010 NRL Season to the lone French Club.

In four seasons with the Dragons Dureau amassed 601 points in just 70 appearances, including 242 goals and 27 tries.

Named the 2012 Super League Player of the Year after being awarded the Albert Goldthorpe Medal, Dureau is no stranger to the current system at the Roosters after working under Head Coach Trent Robinson at both the Knights and Dragons.

A keen golfer and sufer, Dureau admits to enjoying a sleep-in on game days and is currently engaged to his long-time partner of who he will marry this coming October.

lmfao. Going into a game with 3 halves and 2 hookers Sheds a bit of light on Piggy not taking your supermegareservegrade opinions.

Have a feeling Mortimer will show us why we should have kept him.

just watched the replay. We are in big trouble of Heaf is our lead hooker. He just isn't strong enough to play in the middle any more.
Hopefully Maubs is good and we get 30 Maubs, 10 Heaf, 30 Maubs, 10 Heaf.
