They should add all numbers since 1971 and have those crossed off too.
After week two of the finals, I can imagine that fellow turning to the person next to him asking if they have a spare black marker on them.....

Everyone relax TIT and we're going to be fine. With all we need to do is not underestimate the next two games and win them comfortably. Then in the home straight with SBW, Toops and Friend returning, we will have some really good momentum heading into the finals.

It actually looked fantastic on tv last night especially with the Members and Ladies stand full which is a great position to watch AFL live from but lousy to watch Rugby League from, if I watch league at the SCG the NA Noble stand is the best spot to watch from, even though it is behind the in goal it gives you a great elevated view straight down the ground. I often wondered how we used to put up with the poor viewing angles at the SCG for all those years.

It was an illegal tackle. Player on report, it's that simple.

Why do rules change when Manly and/or South play.

In saying that Mattai is made of glass.
I would like to see the tackle again but in any case karma is a b*tch and Steve Mattai is getting it back in bucket loads now, he is one of the dirtiest players to ever lace up a boot.

After about 10 mins into this game it looked like Manly really were not concerned about this game too much. Sure they tried, but their attack lacked a lot of structure and DCE and Foran's involvement last night was minimal.

I think if they prepared like they wanted win then Toovey would have done his top in the press conference.

Souths had their measure. Credit where it's due.

But the comp's got a while to go - don't get too excited, Souths.

Souffs look a much better team this year, if they keep playing like this we'll have to be at our best to overcome them.

My initial thought was this souths fan has a sense of humour. But then I realised it was a souths fan and they are just plain dumb.

Lolololol who does a lap of honour after a standard round match!?!? Maybe they are doing it now cause they are worried they will choke again and not get a chance to do it in October haha. I wouldn't be surprised if Rusty hasn't already neogtiated a DVD to be made for their 'definite' premiership; as we speak his best mate Sammy B is probably already recording the intro....

They are no doubt a contender, but it appears as though they are already reading their own press. The arrogant look on their fans faces after winning last night was the funniest thing I've seen in years. Even the coach looked overly satisfied at full time - complete contrast to our man TRobbo who has never once got too far ahead of himself.

If those two teams meet again on GF day, I know who i'll be tipping (apart from the men in pink). It definitely won't be those in red in green

Based on what I saw last night, the Roosters are nowhere near the two teams that played at the SCG. If the form of the Roosters continues in the same vein as it has this year, they are simply making up the numbers. I don't see back to back unfortunately which is not to say that I wouldn't like to be wrong.

And yes, doing a lap of the ground after a win, irrespective of the reason, is quite odd.

alot of people here are saying manly weren't up to it and souths just got lucky, but take another look. That had to be up there as one of the best defensive performances I have seen from the rabbits in over 2 decades..Not likely they could keep taht up but if they did they'd be very hard to not lift the trophy at the end. I reckon this souths team could've given last years a handy lead and then a hiding considering their new found pace with walker, Auva'a, and Johnston.

Yeah they were not at their best, Steve, BUT that tackle of Stewarts on Inglis was one for the memory banks. Classic.
