  • could SBW be a shock late inclusion for tomorrow night

saw some footage of SBW doing ball work with the team at the captains run with his protective thumb brace on, one would of thought the club wouldn't have him doing ball work if he was a chance to do more damage to the thumb.

I wonder given the precarious position we now find ourselves in being on equal points as 9th spot, whether SBW has put his hand up to make an early return and play through the pain.

He's only passing the ball around.. No tackling whatsoever.

Excellent news. While SBW is more valuable, we have a bunch of talented back rowers when he's out. Toops... we have SKD with Aubbo going to centre or some U20s dude.

Nene MacDonald has been very impressive on the wing.

He's not just some "U20s dude".

He was unfairly hung on here after the Sharks debacle.

Good runner of the ball and knows how to bust a tackle.

As I said post game he was thrust into a "spine" position with only a couple of first grade games with no experience in the position at all if what I was told is correct. SKD being one of the senior players in the group should have gone back instead of hanging poor Nene out to dry which all that it served was to damage the poor kids confidence.

                      That was my point.

He has been impressive on the wing, not as a fullback.

Give the kid a break ffs.

No Nene in the NYC changes and Hastings is playing NYC so team will come from the 18 or 19 Robbo named on Tuesday.

will be interested to hear how Poasa Faamausili goes in NYC tonight, he is another of our young Kiwi prospects making his NYC debut tonight, he was part of our winning SG Ball side earlier in the season.

Not necessarily true. The Jets didn't play this week remember.

I agree and after considering that the talk of moving skif to fullback holds no appeal its then either rts or fergo? or maybe even hastings?
