Something smelled different when they said we didn't play at a charge down! No complaints about the reffin tonight!

Well that was our one good match a season from the refs. Wait till next week when they give the Tigers 15 penalties or something. They will look over their performance tonight and think they must penalise us at all costs next week to make up for what was probably a bad performance in the eyes of Archer and Co.

I would rather have these two ref's than the others as they give us a go .... not like the others.

the refs were by no means perfect but at least they spoke to us with a bit of respect tonight.
Perhaps they were influenced by the size of the crowd. It happens.

You know the refs are bad when Warren Smith & Brandy Alexander question their competence.

Maybe there tip sheet was missing a page title WATCH JAKE FRIEND, one of the most penalised players in the comp.
I have no doubt we are scrutinised more then most teams due to these tip sheets. If they were scrapped and every game was officiated on its merits we wouldn't see lob sided penalty counts. They come in with a pre conceived perception that we are ill disciplined, which we are at times, but the focus wouldn't be on what we try to do in the ruck to slow the play down as opposed to opposition teams

Kinda of like me questioning someone's sanity.

If anything we should be praising the refs tonight

Some of you really need to stop whining about them.

Even when we win the penalty count by quite a bit some of you will still whinge
Thank you for your input, but I did not mention the penalty count. What I was mentioning was the shear lack of judgment in various offside penalties which blatantly missed. There was also the interference at the play the ball area all night. One of the trys they scored should have been a penalty to us when RTS was pushed over after he got up to play the ball. The very next play skd knocks on and they score not long after. They should not have been in the game for much of the game.Trent himself has even once said that we are unfairly targeted by the men in pink. Just my thoughts anyway...

No John, it's not a conspiracy.

Let me explain it for you using a previously employed example.

If you are my neighbour and, at Christmas time I give everyone on our street a carton of beer, except you, that is not a conspiracy.

But you would notice. Just like I notice when we don't receive penalties for obvious infringements by our opponents. For months, seasons, decades.

Last night was as close to Christmas as we are likely to see for us. We got 7 penalties, but had we infringed like the Titans did I believe we would have conceded at least 14 penalties.

I don't believe there is a conspiracy, nor do those on this forum who share some of my views.

But if it makes you feel like you hold the intellectual high ground by using the "conspiracy" word, then that's what internet forums are for, knock yourself out.

But you're not getting a carton of beer from me at Christmas time, ok?

Hopefully robbo can earn the respect, like bellamy has over numerous years at the top, then his opinion might mean more.

TRobbo was blowing up last night, and rightly so, about our NO TRY decision by the vidiots late in the game. Mini contested the high ball against his opposite Zillman. The slow motion replay clearly (to all except those dopes upstairs) shows the football hit Zillman in the upper chest/chin region first, meaning any of Mini's touches should have been determined secondary in their decision making process. Worst case scenario we feed the scrum 25 metres out from their try line. However, in their wisdom they had enough conclusive evidence to overrule the referee and award the Titans the scrum feed.............WTF

Robbo needs to learn the art of spitting/spraying while complaining.
That seems to work for Bellamy.

That's right mate, seems to have worked for Bennett, Toovey, Bellamy in the past, the only people who have to like you as a coach is the players and your fans, and results make that happen, not being Mr nice guy.
