  • Jennings vs Hurrell

Going to be an epic contest.

Jenko is a great defender and coming up against the Hurrellicane is a real challenge for any centre.

    Who comes out on top?

Here are the stats for Jenko and Konrad so far this year.....

Jenko Played 15, Tries 9, Points 36, Tackles 223, All Run Metres 1628, Hit Ups 10.
Konnie Played 16, Tries 11, Points 44, Tackles 167, All Run Metres 1825, Hit Ups 55.

Regardless I think Jenko is still a class above Hurrell......

Elliot was using Hurrell in the pack off the bench at the start of the season so the figures can't be compared.

Hurrell is a monster when he's on, he'll struggle with the pace of the game being off his feet with an ankle injury for a few weeks though so Jenko should be winning this battle.

Hurrell can be quite the liability in defence so I reckon Jennings will get the upper hand on the big unit.

To be honest I have a feeling we are going to thump the warriors

It'll be the usual tripe over there...they get all the penalties and favourable decisions by the truckload, we never see the ball and spend all the game tackling.
Wonder if our supporters will get abused at the ground and on public transport like they did last time and most times?

Hurrel and Jennings are used differently in both teams so stats are kind of misguiding. Hurrel has more metres because he takes more hit-ups because they use him as a prop in some ways, like Vatuvei.

Of course Hurrell has more hit-ups in comparison.

Jennings has the majority of his runs out of dummy half or on the end of backline plays whereas Warriors game plan with Hurrell is give it to him and just charge.

Good to see some confidence. I'm pretty sure we're in for either a tough grind or a smashing.

We're the real deal if we can win the next 3 games IMO.

                            Look for Jennings trademark.
                            Grubber/chase at 1000 mph.
                            9/10 he wins the race.

2 more tries for Tiger this weekend.
