Never underestimate the role of chemistry in any successful team. When Mini leaves at the end of this year it's going to create a monstrous hole. Maybe not quite as monstrous as the one Fittler left at the end of 2004, but enormous, just the same.

There'll be no premiership next year. It's going to take a lot of adjusting.

Last night v Storm, Pearce deservedly should be MOM BUT what about minis performance??? Once again like a great leader, putting his body on the line and coming up with excellent plays especially when he tackled Slater in goals...How does Rabbs go EVERY Anzac game..."Age shall not weary them...!"

The current team cannot win without Mini as skipper

The past 2 years especially this year Mini has a steely attitude which has earned respect from the team

that attitude was on show last night at the presser

& that attitude is what our lad's look up to when things get tough on the paddock

I believe Freddy led by example & played but Mini displays his qualities through mental toughness & team focus

Just enjoy his retirement for what it is, stop being such a precious bunch of sooks. I haven't said one negative thing about him since his retirement announcement and I'm not going to do so. Stop trying to bait me into irrelevant discussions.

Regardless of what anyone thought of Mini at the end of his career he's a legend of our club and deserves to go out as such.

My sentiments exactly. What a career. What an ambassador. Whether you think he went on too far or not, he is a Club legend and I will always remember seeing his debut
