Looks like Jacko is playing. His grandparents flew out to NZ yesterday to watch.

If he plays, it will be for 20 mins to cover Jake or in case of injury to another player.
It is a good idea if Trent thinks he's ready. Will pump soH and encourage him to have a huge off season

Originally posted by Mickey Lane View PostAs far as I know Jackson Hastings is a halfback, he is what 18 years old & you want him to replace Jake in the middle against a bloody big Warriors side. I think if he was to get a run at all during the game he would come on in the halves with hard as nails Pearce moving into the middle playing dummy half which he could easily handle.
But yes, its certainly a baptism of fire to debut in the middle against that pack on their home turf.

I had heard of Jackson Hastings playing in the South Coast comp about 4 years ago only because my brother had told me about him because his son my nephew was 2 years above him in age group but everyone knew Jackson Hastings because he was being talked up as a champion 1/2 back of the future in the NRL. But if he has played hooker in his junior days & is tough enough then maybe hooker is his position?

If the real Warriors turn up, it will be a tough day out for the boys, if the one that turned up last week arrive, it'll be a lot easier, you just never know with them. Its a pity we don't play Manly again, they are deadest in a slump, a lucky with against the Titans last week, and flogged by Parra lastnight, all not well in Womanly World.
Another disgraceful video ref decision on Chis Sandows non try, no Manly defender was hinded in any way to get to Sandow, and the only one close enough to maybe bring him down short of the line, slipped over on the greasy wet grass, and failed to make the tackle, it was try for all money. they are idiots.

Must mean Friend is playing
certainly seems that Friend will play now, I just hope they are not rushing him.

Casty also playing for Newtown, which is a relief, had fears Robbo was going to throw him straight back into first grade, sounds like we will be back to the tried and test starting 17

once Evans is available for selection again after attending a family wedding this weekend, I wonder if he has done enough to get in front of Liu for the final bench spot.
